System Requirements

Series2k Recommended System Requirements

Basically the Series2k Product is compatible with nearly all Windows based systems on the market today. However we need or would recommend the following system:

Basic Computer:

Operating System: Windows XP home or office or Vista (excluding GSite POS systems)
Minimum Hard Drive Space 100 meg
Minimum Memory: 2meg
Minimum CPU : 300

Options we recommend or need:

Web Access - preferably Cable or DSL but dial up is acceptable
LogMeIn installed and enabled
Anti virus protection

When Scanning we recommend:

Our SC600 Handheld computer
Our in line Key board scanner that is used at the back office computer to scan items directly into the Series2k Program
Determine if your main C-Store grocery supplier will provide e-mailed electronic invoice and a base electronic price book

We only communicate with the following systems:

Ruby Verifone and Sapphire
Gilbarco G-Site and Passport
Dresser Wayne Plus 3 and Nucleus
Retalix BP POS

Web Based Back Office Software
